And... it's official! It's now [a little over] 9 years since the Wiki was first founded, 9 years since 22nd March 2011, and 9 years since Rio first showed in theatres, with Rio 2 tailing closely behind at 6 years! Just one more year, and it'll be a decade-old. Imagine that! There's bound to be something big in store for 2021, otherwise, honestly, I'll be upset at such a large occassion.
Well, anyway, Blue Sky Studios recently posted a few recordings of what several casts have to say about Rio's 9th Anniversary (thanks for the links and notifying everyone that it's time on Rio Wiki's Discord server, @AraBleu!):
(These videos were reposted on Youtube because Fandom doesn't support Twitter video embedding. Please don't mind the hastily written description and titles...)
And there you go - it's official - Rio and Rio 2 turn 9 years old and 6 years old respectively, here and now, in 2020. Just one more year, and the one-decade mark can be crossed off. Just look at the comments by everyone on the original Twitter posts - with so much demand, after so long without a 3rd installment, the franchise still keeps on rolling! It's only a matter of time before something else follows. Stay safe, everyone!
