History[]

Blu's Backstory[]

Blu hatched in Rio, and he was living there as child until the day he was captured along with many other birds. While he was about to be transported, he got out of the truck that was carrying him, leaving him in Minnesota where he was found by Linda who took him in and raised him for 15 years until Tulio came asking Blu and Linda to help save The Spix's Macaw Species.

Jewel's Backstory[]

Jewel hatched in The Amazon, and she lived there with her family and her best friend, Roberto. One day, the loggers came and started a forest fire that killed her mother and other Spix's Macaws. While her father was trying to save her, he failed as they got separated. Jewel survived the fire, but she left her home as she believed that the whole Spix's Macaw Tribe died during the fire. It is unknown when or why she moved to Rio, but 15 years later she was discovered and taken by Tulio and his co-workers.

Trivia[]

Blu, on the boat at midnight (Nigel's failed attack) said "Tiago Gunderson, listen to your mother". He could've said Gunderson instead of Monteiro because husbands keep their last names, while wives change the name to the husband.
