Fan-art Ownership Counterfeiting Policy

Users must not counterfeit the ownership of fan-arts or fan-generated images genuinely belonged to other individuals, organizations or entities. Expressions or statements signifying false possession of that corresponding image shall be removed by an administrator with/without an authorization from him/her.

Individual's Fan-art Ownership Verification Procedure

Individual's Fan-art Ownership Verification Procedure (IFOVP) is a procedure in which an inspection to verify user's authentic ownership of the image that he/she has claimed is carried out. Any expressions, statements, words or sentences signifying possession written by any users found shall be verified by administrator(s) of Rio Wiki. Administrators of Rio Wiki are directed to implement this procedure to assure that such commitment does not occur or to be minimized as much as possible.

Individual's Fan-art Ownership Verification Procedure (IFOVP) includes the following 3 measures.

Measure 1: Self-Clarification

The administrator(s) implementing this procedure will be demanding the user whose claim has been inspected to verify his/her authentic and valid ownership of the claimed image. The user will be given 3 days (72 hours) in order to prove his/her possession to be true to the administrator(s) in charge. Administrators are to indicate the expiration of the period specifically - including date, month, year, time and time zone.

  • If the user is able to prove his/her claim to be true, valid and authentic within the given time, it'll be unanimous to both the administrator(s) and the user that the inspected expressions, statements, words or sentences signifying ownership of that image is true. As a result, this will officially mark the end of IFOVP.
  • If the user is unable to prove his/her claim to be true, valid and authentic within the given time, it'll be considered that the inspected expressions, statements, words or sentences signifying ownership of that image is false. As a result, Measure 2 shall be consecutively executed.

Measure 2: Removal of False Claim

Once the inspected expressions, statements, words or sentences signifying ownership of that image is false as described in Measure 1 bullet point 2, the administrator in charge of this inspection has full authority to remove the literal claim from its existence with/without the user's permission. This measure shall override Rio Wiki General Guidelines section 6.1 bullet point 1 regarding the prohibition of editing other users' profile without his/her approval.

After the removal of the counterfeiting ownership is finished, it will officially mark the end of IFOVP.

Measure 3: Rejection and Denial of the Final Verdict

After Measure 2 has been completed, any rejection or denial from the user shall not be brought into consideration of the administrator(s). Those who attempt to restore, revert or undo Measure 2 shall be issued a 1-week block from the administrator. The administrator may give the reason to the block based on the committed guilt.
