Rio 2[]
Peri first appears when Nigel, who is in disguise, mistakenly perceives him for Blu. When Nigel attacked him, he soon realized that he wasn't Blu, but another Spix's Macaw, who came to audition for Nico, Pedro, Rafael, and Carla's talent show. Peri is then shoved away by Nigel, who later presents himself to the group by singing "I Will Survive" with Gabi.
Peri is also seen in a deleted scene; Nigel emerges to begin his performance in the show itself, only to see that the audience and other contestants are fleeing. Peri flies by, and Nigel grabs his neck, demanding to know what is going on. Frustrated by Nigel again, Peri tells him that the logging activity means that the show has been cancelled, infuriating Nigel, who then drops him.

He has blue feathers, with the face region painted in yellow. A tuft of feathers sprouts over his beak.
Quotes[]
- "What is your problem, dude?!"
- "Yeah, that's actually why I'm here. I've got a great little... Hey!"
- "As I was saying..."
Quotes in Deleted Scenes[]
- "Oh come on, you again?!"
- "The show has been cancelled."
Trivia[]
- In Rio 2: The Junior Novel, Peri is described as a Blue-and-gold Macaw. He was probably called a Blue-and-Gold Macaw because he had a yellow face. But Peri is actually a Spix's Macaw because the remainder of his plumage does not resemble that of a Blue-and-gold Macaw, judging from colors.
