Linda and Tulio's House is the home of Linda Gunderson, Tulio Monteiro, and Fernando.
The house was featured in Rio 2, though the only part of it shown on the inside was the kitchen and a part of the living room in the background. A tall tree nearby nests The Birdhouse, which belongs to the Spix's Macaw Family.
Movie Role[]
Rio 2[]
While Linda and Tulio were away in the Amazon on an expedition to search for the Spix's Macaw Tribe, Blu took the opportunity to occupy the kitchen to make pancakes for his kids for breakfast. As Blu wondered aloud about the blueberries' disappearance, Tiago threw blueberries at Blu, causing him to become disoriented and accidentally flips the toasting pan, sending the pancake flying through the air towards Tiago, who was squashed against the wall by the pancake instead. At that moment, Jewel perches on a nearby windowsill and disapproves of Blu's actions. She brought in a Brazil nut that was supposed to be for their breakfast, and Tiago opens a can of shelled Brazil nuts, saying that "dad already showed us".
As Bia and Carla were watching TV, they saw the newscast reporting Linda and Tulio's discovery. The family then choose to decide to help Linda and Tulio on their expedition and travel to the Amazon.
Trivia[]
- This is considered as a cottage to some viewers.
- The only interior of the house that was shown is the kitchen, although it's highly known that there is one bed each for Linda, Tulio, and Fernando.
- The "Home Tweet Home" picture in the kitchen may be a reference to a picture in Blue Macaw Books in Rio with an almost-similar slogan.
- In the middle of the pop-up credits, it is seen "Home Tweet Home" is on Roberto's former nest and now belongs to Blu and his family.
- In the house, Blu cooks pancakes, birds can eat pancakes in moderation, however they don't know how to cook (and the stove is dangerous anyway, even if your bird is on your shoulder he could accidentally fall).
- It is unknown as to when the house was built, (while it was built between the events of Rio and Rio 2, it is unknown what year it was built)
