The Centro de Conservaçāo Ambiental (Centre for Environmental Conservation), often referred to as "Tulio's Aviary", is a location shown during Rio when Tulio takes Blu and Linda to meet Jewel. It is the name of a real bird sanctuary in Rio de Janeiro.

Role in Rio

Tulio Monteiro took Linda Gunderson and Blu there to meet Jewel.
In Centro de Conservação Ambiental, there are many birds being treated to be released back in the wild. They all like Tulio.
One of the birds there is Nigel, who was pretending to be injured to infiltrate the center and help Fernando to kidnap Blu and Jewel.

After some time, Tulio put Blu in Jewel's cage (which was very big). Blu is initially afraid of Jewel because he saw the Aviary Intern with injures caused by Jewel; but after a while, he went to the center of the cage and they met. They ended up disagreeing.

Later, Linda Gunderson and Tulio Monteiro left the center, and Sylvio took care of the place; but Nigel tricked him and made him pass out. After, Nigel stole Sylvio's keys and opened the door to Fernando. Then, he kidnapped the macaws.
