Clyde is a pet cat of Linda's aunt. He lives in Minnesota and knows Blu. In a storyboard, where Blu was taken to vet, Clyde first thought that Blu was a female.
His character model was used in Rio as a stray cat.

Ms. Park was going to be originally Blu's owner. She is an old lady, who lives with Blu in Minnesota.
Mayor Sampedro[]

Mayor Sampedro is the mayor of Rio de Janeiro. In a storyboard, when Linda and Blu came to Rio, Mayor Sampedro introduced himself while a cameraman took pictures of him.
Alice Tipabody[]

Alice Tipabody is Linda's aunt and has a pet cat named Clyde. She lives in Minnesota. In a storyboard, when Tulio came to Linda's Bookstore, Alice sprayed pepper spray on Tulio's face, because he was a stranger to Linda and Alice. After that, Tulio explained who he was; Alice started to like him and told Linda that he was hot.
Hernando[]

Hernando is a bird who lives in Brazil and works for Nigel. In a storyboard, it is shown that Hernando tells to Nigel about birds that Nigel could capture. For the reward, Nigel gives to Hernando bird seed.
Nero[]

Nero is designed by Paul Harrison for Rio Multiplayer Party Game!, but Blue Sky Studios told him that only the characters from the movie will be used in the game. Nero is based on Robert de Niro.
Wilson[]

Wilson was too designed for Rio Multiplayer Party Game!. He is based on Owen Wilson. Concept art for Wilson shows that he had many comments, like when he plays air guitar he says "Dude a lot".
Audition Rhea[]

Audition Rhea is Rhea who was going to audition for Nico's and Pedro's Amazon Untamed. There is a concept art that shows the audition was in Rio. A video is shown that she is really fun, but she never gets to actually start her audition piece.
Mean Birds[]

Mean Birds are birds, who usually mock Blu. They live in Minnesota. The group has geese, sparrows, and crows. In a storyboard, a crow says he is 5 years old, a sparrow says he is 4 years old, and a goose is not sure for his age.
The way they mock him were probably passed down to Alice & Chloe.
