Blu's Wild Journey is a Kohls cares book based on Blu's adventure in Rio and Rio 2. It was published in 2014.
Plot[]
The story starts out with a prologue, when Blu thought he was the last male of his kind in Rio, and lived with Linda Gunderson in a book store, Tulio Monteiro came in to tell them they have to save their species. When they arrived in Rio, brief details about how Blu and Jewel got along and then Rio became Blu's home. Then it states they had three children and goes into the next movie and celebrating New Year's Eve. At the same time, Linda and Tulio found a Spix's Macaw feather. Back in Rio, the kids and Blu were having breakfast and TV. Jewel did not like their domesticated lives. Blu and jewel agree to go to the Amazon, even though Blu is reluctant. Blu came to Luiz's garage to tell his friends. Even though it was long, it was a beautiful trip to find the Amazon headquarters. They spotted a boat and had good luck on the Amazon River. Blu was nervous, but he would do anything for her. They flew off the boat, but there were no macaws to be seen. Suddenly, Blu and his family and friends saw a whole flock of Spix's macaws. Then Eduardo did not know what was going on and was wondering who the new macaw was, at first Jewel thought it was just a cranky bird, but it was her father Eduardo. He even met his grandchildren. Blu tried to join the reunion, but he was too tough to let him, Eduardo led the way for even more macaws for them to see and Blu could not believe how far he came. From the last of his kind to a entire flock. He knew there would be challenges, but it was time to also celebrate with his family and friends.
